CONSTRUCTION HISTORY OF THE SHERBROOKE CATHEDRAL AND THE BISHOP’S PALACE

The Mgr-Antoine-Racine Archives Centre is proud to present its very first virtual exhibition telling the story of the construction of the St. Michael's Basilica-Cathedral and of the Bishop's Palace of Sherbrooke. Located on the Marquette plateau, these buildings have been part of Sherbrooke’s scenery for more than a hundred years. They are also important tourist attractions in the field of diocesan and regional history.

From one page to the next, you will discover them by means of documents, photographs, plans and architect’s sketches.

Have a nice visit!
