Foyer Saint-frédéric

|

The history of the Foyer Saint-Frédéric de Windsor began in 1959. At that time, Mrs. Aurore Plourde Morency donated to the Dominicaines des Saints-Anges Gardiens the building located at 46 Saint-Georges Street. They immediately admitted boarders. About ten years later, with their approval, the building was sold to representatives of the Town of Windsor. The purpose was to establish the Pavillon Jean XXIII, a residence for the elderly, but the project never saw the light.
